So yesterday was our last day of sixthform. It's quite scary to think we've been in that school since year 7 - the years have flown by! As tradition, we all had to dress up as different things to celebrate our end to our time at the school. There were Red Indians, characters of Cluedo, Disney characters, Ninjas and 'Where's Wally?' themed outfits. As a group, we all decided to dress up as the Pink Ladies from Grease:
The day was started off with a final leavers assembly, where awards were presented and each form tutor and form gave a little speech. It was quite emotional, but funny to recap on past memories, and take the opportunity to thank everyone for making the past seven years so memorable! The assembly was closed with a song called 'Everybody's Free (to wearn sunscreen)' by Baz Luhrmann - an inspirational graduation speech.
Then each of the girls wrote their wishes and dreams on a piece of card, which we then attached to a balloon each and released then altogether - very cute idea!
The day was very beautifully finished off with a trip to charl's with the girls where we watched Grease, High School Musical 3 and Dirty Dancing - beautiful films! Followed by the glasshouse and symph where we managed to get 4 bottles of champagne for free - stunning.
Then a night out in town...
All in all, it has been a beautiful end to a beautiful 7 years! I just can't believe how fast time has gone.
