God is in control!

Well today has been a really difficult day for a number of reasons - so much so, I embarrassed myself with a mini breakdown at college. However, I came across a verse from Mark 4:35-40:
“…Jesus got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’  Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
He said to the disciples, ‘Why are you so afraid?  Do you still have no faith?
’They were terrified and asked each other, ‘Who is this?  Even the wind and the waves obey Him!’”
Everybody in their life will have to face some kind of storm, but it is so encouraging to know that we don't have to face these problems alone, but we can face them with the help of our Saviour. No matter how big our problems seem, God is always bigger!

If I have learnt anything over the past couple of years, it is that God is a loving God and there is not greater comfort than knowing that we have his love and that we can confidently trust in him, finding the strength we need for each day and knowing he will be with us no matter what storms we may face.
This is a song by Casting Crowns which has truly been a comfort to me over the past couple of years and has been on stuck on replay throughout my day today!
